WildGround have now finished working in the dene in Ferndene Park. The trainees have all passed their course and some of them already found employment in the environmental sector. They’ve left behind lots of new bulbs, and those free of shade are beginning to show fresh life.
With the additional Heritage Lottery funding secured for the dene, the contractor will be completing the access work over the next few weeks – hopefully encouraging more people to enjoy and use the area.
